There are three people the Bible mentions never denying. Two of them are expressly said to have been taken to heaven and one is hinted to have lived on forever.
Enoch
Enoch is the first person the Bible says was taken to heaven. Enoch was born in the seventh generation following Adam and the Bible states that Enoch walked so closely with God that God just took him to heaven.
Genesis 5:24 ~ Enoch walked with God, and then he was no more, because God had taken him away.
Hebrews 11:5 ~ It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying—“he disappeared, because God took him.” For before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God.
Elijah
Elijah is the second person the Bible tells us never died and was taken to heaven. His successor Elisha was the only who witnessed this event. Earlier on, Elijah had prayed to God for death due to the overwhelming stress and fear he felt after Jezebel’s threat to kill him just as he killed her false prophets. However, God had different plans for Elijah.
2 Kings 2:11 ~ As they were walking along and talking, suddenly a chariot of fire appeared, drawn by horses of fire. It drove between the two men, separating them, and Elijah was carried by a whirlwind into heaven.
Melchizedek
The eternal life of Melchizedek is something the bible hints at several times. The bible talks about Melchizedek never having a beginning nor an ending. He was a priest and a king who appeared out of nowhere and lives on forever. When talking about the priesthood of Jesus, the Bible compares it to that of Melchizedek’s rather than that of Aaron and the Levites (God’s chosen line of succession for his holy priests). The Bible justifies this comparison by saying that Aaron and the Levites die but Melchizedek won’t and he is a priest forever. Therefore, Jesus is our High Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.
Hebrews 7:3 ~ There is no record of his father or mother or any of his ancestors—no beginning or end to his life. He remains a priest forever, resembling the Son of God.
Hebrews 7:8 ~The priests who collect tithes are men who die, so Melchizedek is greater than they are, because we are told that he lives on.
Hebrews 7:17 ~ For it is testified: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”
